Fruity Slice


1. Melt 4oz of butter with 4oz of demerara sugar.

2. Stir in 5oz of S.R. flour, 10oz of mixed dried fruit and one whisked egg.

3. Pour the mixture into a lined tray and bake in a moderate oven until golden (about 20-25 mins at 170C).

4. Sprinkle with caster sugar.
