This course is for people who have completed the 10 step technique Beginners Course, have considerable experience of Nordic Walking and enjoy walking at a moderate pace. Please meet outside the Visitor's Centre next to the car park. This class will last 1 hour, during which time you will refine the ten step British Nordic Walking technique. You will also work on exercises, which focus on speed, balance, cardiovascular fitness, strength and posture.


This is technically a Health Class, which means that participants will cover about 2-3 miles in the hour and is supposed to be a more gentle pace than the Fitness class. However, this is actually quite a fast Health Class, but all speeds are catered for.


Please wear comfortable clothes and either trainers or a pair of waterproof walking shoes. I will provide poles.


This six week course can be booked as a block of 6 sessions for £48 payable to the instructor at the first session. The course runs up to and includes Friday 3rd April.
