This course is for people who have completed the 10 step technique Beginners Course, have considerable experience of Nordic Walking and enjoy walking at a moderate pace. Please meet outside the Visitor's Centre next to the car park. This class will last 1 hour, during which time you will refine the ten step British Nordic Walking technique. You will also work on exercises, which focus on speed, balance, cardiovascular fitness, strength and posture.
Level
This is a Health Class, which means that participants will cover about 2-3 miles in the hour. This is a more gentle pace than the Fitness class.
Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothes and either trainers or a pair of waterproof walking shoes. I will provide poles.
Payment
This six week course can be booked as a block of 6 sessions for £48 payable to the instructor at the first session. The course runs up to and includes Monday 7th October.
