This course is for people who have completed the 10 step technique Beginners Course. It is a mixed class that can cater for those who enjoy walking about 2-3km per hour (health walkers), as well as the faster "fitness" walkers, who will be set extra challenges along the way.
Please meet outside the Visitor's Centre next to the car park. This class will last 1 hour, during which time you will refine the ten step British Nordic Walking technique. You will also work on exercises, which focus on speed, balance, cardiovascular fitness, strength and posture.
Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothes and either trainers or a pair of waterproof walking shoes. I will provide poles.
Payment
This six week course can be booked as a block of six sessions for £45 payable preferably by bank transfer or to the instructor at the first session. The course runs up to and includes Monday 1st April.
