This course is for people who have completed the 10 step technique Beginners Course and enjoy walking about 2-3km per hour; it is a more gentle pace than the 9am class. It will suit either those who have completed a beginners course in the last 6 months, or those who prefer to walk at a more relaxed pace.
Please meet outside the Visitor's Centre next to the car park. This class will last 1 hour, during which time you will refine the ten step British Nordic Walking technique. You will also work on exercises, which focus on speed, balance, cardiovascular fitness, strength and posture.
Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothes and either trainers or a pair of waterproof walking shoes. I will provide poles.
Payment
This five week course can be booked as a block of five sessions for £37.50 payable to the instructor at the first session. The course runs up to and includes Monday 5th February.
