LEARN TO NORDIC WALK IN TWO DAYS

All Nordic Walking East Anglia classes will comply with the latest government regulations.  Please read our guidelines and delivery plan so that you know what to expect.

Details

Please meet as close to the park entrance as possible at the far end of the car park. I will be wearing a bright red jacket and have a bag of Nordic Walking poles, so should be easy to spot. This class will last 2 hours (11.30-1.30), during which time we will begin learning the first technique points of the 10 step British Nordic Walking Technique. There will be a short break half way through, so please bring a drink and a snack. In the two hours we will probably cover about 4 miles.  By the end of the two days, you will have the skills to continue either Nordic Walking in your own time, or to join our NEW regular Thursday Classes in Milton Park.

Parking

There is pay and display parking at Milton Country Park costing £3.50 to park all day.

Equipment

Please wear comfortable clothes and either trainers or a pair of waterproof walking shoes. I will provide poles.

Payment

This session is one of two 2 x hour sessions - the first taking place at 11.30am on Thursday 8th October - that comprise the Beginners Workshop and costs £45 for the course. Payment can be in advance by bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel 14 or more days in advance, we will offer you a full refund. After this time, we will only be able to offer a refund, if we manage to fill your place.

NB This course will only go ahead if there are a minimum of four people on the course. If there are less than four, I will contact all those who have signed up and offer a private 3 hour lesson for the same fee.
