Please park safely in the village hall car park.


This course is for people who have completed the 10 step technique beginners course. You will be introduced to new exercises, which focus on speed, balance, fitness, and posture. This class will last just over 1 hour, during which time you will refine the ten step British Nordic Walking technique. As the last walk of the course gathering for a coffee afterwards is hugely encouraged! The Udder Room (next to Forelock and Load in Barrow, IP29 5AX).


Please wear comfortable clothing dressing according to the weather and either trainers or a pair of walking shoes. Water and sunscreen recommended if hot. Poles are provided.


This five week course can be booked as a block of 5 sessions for £37.50, payable to the instructor at the first session. Please note this course will not run on Thursday 11th May, there is a pay as you go walk (£7.50) on Monday 8th May at 9.30am in Nowton Park should you wish to walk that week. Please let me know if you are coming.
