LEARN TO NORDIC WALK IN A WEEKEND
All Nordic Walking East Anglia classes will comply with the latest government regulations. Please read our guidelines and delivery plan so that you know what to expect.
Details
The lesson will last 2 hours, during which time we will learn the remainding technique points of the 10 step British Nordic Walking (BNW) Technique. By the end of the two days you will feel confident enough to either join our regular walks or go off on your own. There will be a short break half way through, please bring a drink and a snack if desired. Please be aware that you are on your feet for 2 hours and will walk approximately 2-3 miles in that time. If you are concerned that this may be too much or have any questions, please call Katharine on 07789 872435 or email to discuss, and potentially a private/small group lesson can be arranged if this would be more suitable.
Parking
Please park safely in the car park and meet at the cafe end of the car park. It is £1 parking for 2 hours, or £15 permit for the whole year.
Equipment
Please wear comfortable clothes, dressing according to the weather, hat and non-bulky gloves if needed and either waterproof walking shoes or boots. Poles will be provided.
Payment
This session is second of the two 2 x hour sessions - the first taking place at 9.30am on Saturday 1st May that comprise the Beginners' Workshop and costs £45 for the course. To secure your place payment needs to be made in advance by bank transfer.
Please note that from June 2021 crash courses will be £50.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel 14 or more days in advance, we will offer you a full refund. After this time, we will only be able to offer a refund, if we manage to fill your place.
NB This course will only go ahead if there are a minimum of four people on the course. If there are less than four, we will contact all those who have signed up and offer a private 3 hour lesson for the same fee.
