Katharine Green

Katharine qualified as an INWA Nordic Walking instructor with British Nordic Walking in 2014. Having enjoyed running for many years, she started having knee problems after doing the Great North Run. This led her to discover Nordic Walking, not only as a great way to keep fit, but also as the perfect compliment to pilates, something she’s practiced over many years.

Katharine gained her Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Walking from the YMCA in December 2015. She is a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals, is a qualified First Aider and has full insurance.

Katharine thoroughly enjoyed her first Nordic Walking race challenge in November 2014, walking over the line with the winner after completing the 20km course in 2 hours 32 minutes at an average speed of 4.9mph.
